A boy prepares a cocnut for us to drink at the Mekong River.

A Lotus flower in a scungy pond!

A mom and her baby who came to say hi when I was taking a picture of water buffalo in the field behind her house. I asked if I could photograph her baby, and this was her reaction.

An enterprise in a family home - she is manipulating rice, which is being pounded by the log which is bounced upon by kids. Once it becomes dough they roll it out into very thin rice pastry, which they use for spring rolls! She narrowly avoids being smashed by the heavy log by millimeters!!

A woman selling cooked spiders in Skoen, where we stopped en route to Kampong Thom. I didn't try one!

The Abbot of the Buddhist monastery where we ended our bike tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. He blessed us, and said a prayer for our friend David, a fellow cyclist who fell critically ill on the third day of our trip. He is recupating in a Bangkok hospital, where he will be for a few weeks, but his condition seems to be improving all the time.
